What would you gap the Autolite 46 plugs with a Pertronix 2 electronic ignition?

Also, do they use a gasket? The plugs I took out did not have gaskets.

Could use a little more information on what engine these spark plugs are in.

    Most likely a 272.

My Autolite 46 plugs are gapped at .035” using a Pertronix ll in my 56 292. If your engine is in good shape. Rings, valves/guides they should stay clean. I added positive valve guide seals when the heads were last off and the engine has been smooth ever since.

The engine is a standard 272, with a Holley 4000.

Also, the plugs I removed were Autolites 46 with no gaskets.

FYI, judging from the carb pic your engine should have a load-o-matic distributor. That thing that looks like a holley power valve is a 'spark valve' to switch sources for the distributor.

Wouldn't hurt to check the distributor a see what was changed, if anything with the electronic install.

BTW, that year Ford would have tapered plugs/seats and no gasket.
