Ah,all the fun of after the fire! Remember it well from my twelve years in our local Country Fire Service,here in Tea Tree Gully,SA. Before the plasticising of hose internals,when back at the station,unroll them and hoist on the tower to let them dry;preventing mildew/rot. Then joy of joys,we got to roll them up again! Regret,not a moment. Volunteers,as I think these women would be. Good job!
During my nitromehtane burning years, I always said nitro had two goals; either to blown heads completely off the engine or push crankshaft out the bottom of engine. In this case pushing the crankshaft out the bottom of engine was achieved.
