    Boy, that one hit close to home. There was a point in Tulsa where the road was so bad, the car was nearly uncontrollable. Yikes!

    the hemi powered multi colored 34 5w is awesome. my favorite of all time. Right up there with the 554 Mooneyham coupe

    @twotallokie thanks for the flics ! Is that trophy a chromed turd ? Alot of nice cars but that black on black 52 Chevy looks tough as nails !

    It is the Turd of Perpetual Polish, or something close to that. It is magnesium, so the recipient will have to constantly polish it to keep it from tarnishing. Great trophy!

  16. If you watch one of the videos they explain things - the trophy is pretty cool. Being magnesium, it turns the winner into a perpetual turd shiner. All those trophies when you hear the back story, seem well thought out. Just part of what looks like a premier event.

    Thanks for the comment, I’ve finally gotten tired of the BS too! At least for me the spirit of building cars when I was young was innovation, not copy cat!
