This was an exciting save for me today. Anybody know the maker of this style?? I've yet to research it. Pretty rough but on par with what I typically drag into the shop. 20231002_115241.jpg 20231002_120806.jpg 20231002_120919.jpg 20231002_120846.jpg 20231002_120834.jpg

  5. Make sure you share the inprocess and after shots, that is cool. It might benefit from a longer tongue.

That trailer was made to bolt on to the rear bumper of a car. Notice the swivel wheels.

  8. It does kind of look like a coal skuttle(?) box. I bought a brand new one from a grage sale at an OLD house years ago, had a tear drop shape and a '37 Ford door handle on the hatch. Was gonna make a small trailer but it ended up on the scrap pile at work. Kept the handle though...never have I seen another one, shoulda kep-it...Mitch

These are old coal stokers, they look similar. Could be one? I bet there's an old Popular Mechanics issue that has an article on how to make a trailer from one.
