I like them all. Don't know who this guy is, but he does have a good eye. Thanks for showing us this.
I'm going to be so bummed if I find out those are all AI generated.

  3. Stellar stuff! Did he use AI?

No idea... I've been playing with AI for quite a while... If he is using AI, he's using something far more advanced than what I've been able to mess with. I say that, because there's a consistent style to all of these models. Pay particular attention to windshields and rear fenders...

Also, one line relates to another... and there's a subtlety to it.

For example, here's a 32 roadster that I did in AI:

    roadster.jpg

Note how each has sort of over dramatized lines and stretch? No matter the version of AI I use, that's a commonality... and I don't see that in this guy's work.

He could be using AI, but I'd be surprised.

  6. I have been following him on IG for some time. His designs are VERY cool.
I don't know him either, or what he uses....

    Wow that's some great work.

It seems to be influenced by all of the things that you mention as well as having a bit of the movie Cars styling thrown in for good measure (albeit on a more refined level).

Wow quite an artist. I just can’t believe those are real steel.
But it sure does get your imagination on overdrive. Beautiful stuff.

Truly stunning work...beats staring at the Mona Lisa by a 1/4 mile.

I'm actually glad it's not AI...

Telstar 77 did some pretty awesome Custom Inspirations...maybe hes upped his game

I wonder if this is 3D...that would be one tick up on the wow factor...

Regardless of all of that I would certainly proudly hang one on my wall as I could never own such a work of art...way out of my league but stunning work...incredible artist...

    Thanks for sharing...

I am not an IG member so I couldn't see very many of them but I agree with Mr Norwell, no soul and mostly the cars look the same and the roofs on most are way too small, if you put a normal size person inside most of those cars their heads would be hitting the roof. I refuse to sign up for bullshit social media sites so I am in the dark on most of this and I am completely ok with it....

Just as there is more than one pen and paper car designer, there is more than one AI car designer....

‘yeah… the ugly 32 i posted… those are 4 different AI offerings going at it after being asked the for same thing… in my opinion, they are all terrible.

I actually dig the featured models…

I guess I look at things differently as an Artist. I have seen and still marvel at the good ole days when photography and Automobile sales where not even a consideration...That was fantasy too...proportions were all over the place but I still love it...they aided in selling those and double as the Art that they are...

    But not gonna really argue...
Art and opinions are hugely diverse and personal...I do what makes my day and let it go...some like it some don't...

Just like Hotrod/Custom and everything else in the universe...

  22. They kinda remind me of the mashup designes that @Jive-Bomber created in Pixar's Cars and The Incredibles.

    I do too.

I like finding parts of other cars in them, as well. Like lots of cars were put in a blender, then interesting combinations pulled out.

  24. You need to tune your AI to start using bias-ply tires... :D

    They sure are… he’s also selling NFTs… ugh…

    Man… AI still surprises me… I’m a writer - I’m even more screwed than pen/paper artists…

I wonder what flavor he is using. Whatever it is, it’s far better than anything I’ve tried.

I was fighting being there too and I don't know why. As if I HAD TO appreciate the medium but I just don't. There's something almost spiritual about pencils, pens, brushes, and all raw emotions or psychological captures that are released by such. This tech shit never sees the wrench askew in the background, the mud in the tire, the burned out neon tube in the building used as a backdrop because the eye was seeing it and it added something more. Hands put humanity to paper, or also on a screen, but not with this automotron bullshit. In my craft, it's like hydrographics vs my brush work. I'm biased, I'll take the brush. The other is kool but I don't want it. Maybe in the same way we don't want billet or DUBS. Sorry to be so wordy...

Only a matter of time before you won’t be able to tell the difference between AI and actual art…. Hell, AI photography is already winning pretty substantial awards:

    https://www.tomorrowsworldtoday.com...ldagsen's image titled,created using DALL-E 2.

It’s a real bad deal for the future of human creativity…
