Turn signal on the roof, used on Volvo PV 1950-52 for the swedish market. Nicknamed "takgök", which translates to "roof cuckoo".
It was hard to see which way it was signaling due to lamps being near each other, and made it impossible to use a roof rack.

  9. Maharani Special Cadillac, General Motors built the car for its 1956 Motorama show, a traveling exhibition of extravagant dream cars and the latest in automotive technology. G.M. built four Cadillac concepts in 1956, and the Maharani is the sole survivor, this car is equipped with all the conveniences for those with a large appetite! The passenger seat is replaced by several culinary appliances, including a toaster, refrigerator, hot plate, cutlery holder, and a kitchen sink! No wonder this car is more commonly known as the Kitchen Sink Cadillac among collectors. Although in great driving condition, most of its appliances are in dire need of restoration.

Farm and fleet used to sell them. Haven’t seen new ones though since running boards disappeared from cars though.

Wasn’t there also something to attach to an exhaust manifold and “cook it as you drove”. ?

We used to wrap burgers and hot dogs in foil and put on the mufflers of snowmobiles to cook them. after about an hour of riding you had a tasty meal out in the snowy woods.

I figured half of the J.C. Whitney catalog would be fair game, but thought some HAMB'rs may get offended so just picked one that probably isn't being used.

Post war Lincolns actually came with a foot control for the radio. It only changed the stations like a Wonder bar radio though, no volume control. It looked just like a dimmer switch, and was mounted between the brake and clutch pedals, about a foot back. Press the switch, it would go to the next station it picked up. When it got to the end of the dial, it’d go all the way back to the other end and start again.

My car had the remains of the switch still in the floorboard.
