And Dan Gurney still doesn't fit, so he's out or the design guys still have to install the bubble!

You are confused. I'm doing any of this shit. I'm just typing stories...

Not free... I'm using the cheap one though. 8$ a month.

Since you chose to not wipe my input and are on a design streak, here's another prompt.
Chrysler didn't have to destroy the turbines for tax reasons.
Another skunkworks in Southern California or Texas was given one to build a race car.

Understood, these are stills you are doing. You are very good writer and know history very well both Automotive and Artistically and beyond...a Very Powerful AI Pilot.

    Thanks for the Link...

OK, so that's the policy (with which I agree).

But how will we enforce it? At what point will we be able to reliably discern when art is created by AI and when not? Today, it seems fairly easy. After Midjourney is trained for another 6 months to a year, what then?

I see that and appreciate what you are doing with the tool, I may have to try my hand at it too.
it's easy to see the elephant in the room, AI doesn't care any more than any other tool.
the possibilities and impact the technology will make on humans is a bit daunting to say the least.
it is happening, it will need a sure grip on the wheel if we don't want to end up in the ditch.

How about an AI rendering of Lloydfest + Debauchery?

I feel for the Writers and Artists that were striking...and our Artists that still have Careers...Who knows they may still hire Artists to run these things...

The later hands are not so fugly though...I did it may be a racer with mangled hands from accidents as there were no safety mechanisms in 1940...or at a minimum very few...

Or is it proof positive that AI is alien in origin? Or is it a prediction of how we will look in the future? Science is already saying we are not real but a simulation and are supposed to be on the verge of proving it. All I know is I like 95% of the car designs shown here.

I have also had this account pop up in my Insta feed (@mish_mash_nash), and there several design ideas I liked a lot. If you like the Retro Futuristic thing, '50s GM/Ford/Chrysler Dreams Cars, etc, it's definitely worth a follow, if only for occasional inspiration.

What Ryan and a few other Hambers have done is pretty impressive, beyond impressive really...I have never seen AI applied to Hamb Guidelines and yes we've strayed a bit...But these are 10s in my opinion...not aliens, just a smart individual at the helm to drive it with history...because all it is is typed or spoken word that fuels it...

Most of this stuff he's written to pump out this imagery I'm not even aware of...I know what I know but I am amazed at the data banks people possess...

I'm good at drilling holes though...:D

    OK....

    concept30.jpg

I keep fighting the good fight over here, but to no avail... Sort of reminds me of that time in 1947 when a nuclear bomb hit the Prototype Drags in New Mexico. What a cluster fuck of a day that was... not too different from this thread.

OK... but the thing is, Chrysler didn't just find a few quarters in the couch cushions. They found millions stashed away in a bank account on some island somewhere... And they had to spend that shit before the US government got their grubby mitts on it, right? So, they did like Willie Nelson and blew that shit as quickly as possible on two projects.

The first is a turbine powered coupe built exclusively for NASCAR. That series is as fake as this rendering, so it fits:

    concept33.jpg

Of course, NASCAR in '64 was pretty low budget and they had millions to spare... So, they decided to take the turbine land speed racing as well:

    concept32.jpg

The Sonarcakar showed terribly... most people blamed the cheap interior finishes...

France, Germany and Italy accelerated partnership into a European Union in the 1950s, reaping great economic gains. Safety after the Le Mans race was such a concern that thousands of economy cars were consigned to being exported to behind the Iron Curtain to be used only as scrap, not transportation due to technology usage laws, creating the great Polish Derby Rozbiórkowe era.
Dauphines, 500s and Beetles classed together due to engine placement. Let the commies kill each other in that unsafe crap, so long as they don't reap the value of it as transport.

EDIT: Bravo, but 3 and 2 on a NASCAR and any lights on a LSR car? it's is learning, but not there yet!

I just watched the new trailer for the film "FERRARI" staring Adam Driver as Enzo.
It will be interesting to see how much CGI and potentially any facet of AI, that will be utilized in that film.
I cant imagine the producer's actually wrecking any real Ferrari's in that movie.
One of the very real characteristics of Adam Driver, is how far his ears stick out from the side of his head, in the trailer, his ears are NOT sticking out and are very well streamlined close to his head.
Don't know if they used AI or CGI, or some incredible make up man with tried and true tricks of the trade to keep his ears flat.
Maybe high tech, skin friendly "DUCT TAPE"

Yep, at least it didn't non-HAMB era nose and tail it, even though the wheels and tires are not 64-65. Bill France would've required the engines in production cars. Oh, wait...

Pretty amazing what a pair of scissors can do, but I am a 70 year old dinosaur, that is still doing art the hard way !

Here's another one I spent some time on while teaching myself prompts. Around 30 or so iterations... and I found a way to iterate specific areas of the car which is equally frustrating and helpful.

    ***

After the tumultuous year of '63, General Motors found itself at its wit's end with the irrepressible Bill Mitchell. The man was a visionary, but alas, his brilliance often flew over the heads of the masses. You see, the unwashed masses just couldn't wrap their feeble minds around Mitchell's audacious split window concept, and the safety zealots were quick to brand him a sinner against the gods of safety, forsaking it for the allure of devilish aesthetics. The end result? Mitchell found himself unceremoniously ejected from his position, left to wander the tumultuous automotive wilderness.

In the wake of Mitchell's abrupt departure, the enigmatic Jim Kellison was called in to lead the charge on the hallowed development of the Corvette. Picture it, if you will, the scene: a jaded, pissed off Zora Arkus-Duntov begrudgingly sharing the reins of the Corvette endeavor with this newcomer. The clash of egos was as thunderous as a psychedelic rock concert, but it was a necessary collaboration, the meeting of two titans in the realm of automotive madness.

Kellison, as it turned out, was already deep in the throes of a project of his own, a fiberglass beast of a car, intriguingly rooted in the C2 chassis. Fate seemed to have orchestrated this union, for the transition was as seamless as a freshly rolled joint. The offspring of this unholy union was unveiled to the unsuspecting public in the frosty grip of the Winter of '64 – the Korvette King Ray.

Now, this beast of a car was no slouch, powered by an injected 327-inch small block engine that belted out an earth-shattering 400 horses through a savage 4-speed transmission. But what set it apart was its daring independent rear end, offering a ballet of control on the unforgiving tarmac. This beast was no featherweight either, tipping the scales at a solid 3,500 pounds, a heavyweight champ in a featherweight division.

But the true test of mettle came at the legendary Le Mans race in '65. The Korvettes, ensconced in their feral glory, roared onto the hallowed track. They may not have clinched the podium, but they made their presence known, finishing 11th and 12th in their class, with one unfortunate DNF to their name. The distinguished Dan Gurney, who had a taste of the madness, remarked, "The car was incredible on the Mulsanne Straight, a bat out of hell, but Tertre Rouge was a bit challenging. I did, however, really appreciate the extra cabin room they built in for my big ass head."

In the tumultuous arena of speed and style, the Korvette King Ray carved a niche for itself, a symbol of defiance in the face of conformity. It was a hedonistic parade of power, a hallucinatory journey through the twists and turns of the automotive counterculture. Bill Mitchell may have been gone, but his spirit of audacity lived on, carried forward by the madmen who dared to tinker on the fringes of the automotive cosmos.

Ahhh, your prompts are getting closer to the style of car's that was in the George Lucas film
    THX-1138 !

But it’s supposed to be me in the future with a East Coast style custom, sectioned and channeled with no chop

THX-1138 used P word race cars of a later vintage.
Ryan, thanks for the nod to the big man. This one seems like a better melding of obvious inspirations, and the critique here is the AI didn't know the Le Mans luggage requirement that the GT40 'artfully' got around with the rear tray. Doesn't look like this one has the space.

In a nod to the crazy output you are creating and the signature line of one of the guys here who I dig (@Gotgas), keeping in mind the limitations a few have mentioned with this AI having problems with human appendages, I submit that the name Bad Hands CreAtIons.

    EDIT: Anthony, can't fool me, that's not a custom, it's a sleeper!

Most people are like me, copy cats
Artistic to a point of being able to reproduce something
Evan at a very high level
I see something and incorporate it into my projects
I have had a few new thoughts,
just can’t think of any of them right now

Artists, whether in drawings, sculptor, music or written word can produce new ideas, designs or renderings or play music from their own brains.
    without vision.

AI is just a collection of ideas and concepts from the minds of man.

I can’t be offended by this
