Folks Of Interest Gene Winfield Auction Complications

on the Winfield Custom Shop site on Instagram there are some details about someone attacking Gene, and others, because of Gene's planned auction. I do not really know how to search Instagram. so, if someone that personally knows him and about this info please clarify this so we can support him. if Info is BS on Instagram please delete this thread

Man... What the **** is wrong with people today?!?!?!?! Attacking an elderly man is utterly PATHETIC and could have possibly killed him!!! The lack of action from law enforcement is disgusting also!
I hope Gene can get past this. It's HIS estate, he can do with it as he see's fit!

This is terrible. If you read the comments that follow the post that @nochop showed above, it sounds like the **** my ex wife and her family did. Completely planned and underhanded.

All this started when the person who posted this showed up on the scene. She has alienated a lot people close to Gene.jmho.Snowman ⛄️

As an outsider and a fan of Genes..WTF is going on out there …seems to have been a lot of drama in the last year….poor guy shouldn’t have to deal with this stuff this late in his life…

Ok, here's what I've put together, based on absolutely nothing ... zero facts.

Apparently, recently "G" commented that people need to let him be, it's his life to live and if they don't approve of his (apparently) younger female companion and allegedly "his" business decisions of late, tough. I am guessing "M L" is that "companion".

Going out on a limb here, I am again guessing that "companion" M L is all for the sale of ***ets of the business and "J", the long-time friend and employee is not.

If I am correct, J is certainly in a better position than most of us are as to ones ability to actually see and understand exactly what is going on here. Maybe G is finally wanting to slow down (certainly understandable given his age) or maybe he is being led astray by someone with less than honest intentions.

Again ... I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about.

 

best explanation to date. If you are correct, why is Jimmy beating up Gene ? Or is that the drama the young chick wants to create ? Is she all about the money ?
I just hope someone will go help Gene.

Winding down, Wills, Wealth can be a real explosive combination in the latter years or in death...especially with a companion that may be relatively new on the scene... I have seen this play out...The family was left with nothing and the step companion got it all...

I am not a parent nor am I wealthy but parents who bear children should consider their futures...but that is only their decisions at the end of the day...

I hope Gene is okay, he doesn't need this now or ever...but estate mods including sizing down especially when living can be unpredictable...

 

I took a cl*** from Gene last year (October 2022). I can confirm that both Jimmy (male) and Micheal Leann (female) were employees at that time.

My instincts tell me that we are not getting the full story.

And random speculation is not helping the situation.

My prayers go out to Gene.

on Instagram you can forward threads comments to others. I forwarded the posting of trouble to some of the obvious big names jn car world listed above that are Gene's friends. yep, a lot we do not know. there was a video posting on Instagram within past month that Gene was upset with people giving him a hard time about his planned move.

 

And I don’t think Gene is made of money….seems to live a pretty simple life…

 

Didn’t some similar drama happen to Joe Mac of Ford Parts Obsolete? It’s really hard to deal with this stuff when you’re old.

 

It's hard to witness this kind of thing from a distance knowing you can't do anything about it.

 

We went through a similar situation with my late racing partner, he took up with a devious criminal woman who came on like a nice little old lady until he p***ed then the gloves were off. Fortunately there was a will and his family was locked in but it took 6 months and $10,000 in lawyers fees to remove her from the property not to mention the collectable and valuable Bonneville L.S.R. items that she and her worthless tweaker kids stole from them. It was a total effin nightmare to say the least!

 

There’s a lot of ***umptions and actions being made when no one has a clue what is actually going on…

 

I know nothing, but I'm willing to help Gene if I can.

 

If nothing else, Gene needs a little muscle on his side.
