That's a Helm's bakery truck in the background. Where else but Southern California would have a bakery truck driving through the neighborhoods tooting their unique whistle like an ice cream truck. Best maple bars ever too.

Iskys shop was in either Culver City or Inglewood at the time. Helms serviced both areas. Where I grew up in the 40-50’s in Inglewood the ice cream trucks played music and only the Helms truck had a whistle. Our Helms truck was #99 and sometimes #101.
