I want to take this opportunity as a new member to compliment this very informative forum. So many times I have searched how to do stuff or whatever, links to threads here always come up, and you guys are always right on the money. Particularly on the subject of painting. Thanks to this message board I have just learned how to mig weld forged steel perfectly. (I made a driveshaft for my snowblower attachment and had an awful time getting good penetration welding the forged yoke to a steel flange). Many thanks to all who have posted on here and have helped me over the years. I have joined and will be following this forum, and will also try to make suggestions for others when I'm able to. In case anybody is wondering, my avatar is a factory experimental supercharged 425 Nailhead that's displayed at the Buick factory in Flint Michigan. Another prototype was run balls out for 3 days until the forged crank broke and the torque monster exploded. LOL Apparently they didn't want to offer an option that had the potential of ruining their good name for reliability. I'd love to have one in my Riv though, just for a few good runs and the wow factor.
Welcome from the PNW. @alanp561 is right. As we say here on this forum, pictures or it didn’t happen.
I have one on my hard drive, but I'm having a wierd windows 10 problem. It shows up then disapppears. Only me I guess. I will get it posted as soon as I figure it out, corrupted files I guess.
I had to delete the pic of the Buick, this site has a cut off of 1965. you can find the rules for posting here: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-h-a-m-b-rules-guidelines.44274/
