Man, the only thing still standing from these pics is the Tracy Inn - the big building across the street (I drive past it every day on my way to work) - and the water tower way in the distance. Time marches on...
Footnote to this: Iwas a kid in hospital, three months, with rheumatic fever in 57/58 new year. How lucky my folks could afford(sacrifice) to Hire a radio for me! One song sticks in my memory,Diana! Maybe two...That'll be the day! Ten years, goin' on eleven...made all the difference. Gone, but never forgotten.
Did I miss this? Lovely Meter Maid, likely from Gold Coast,Queensland. I see a 64ish Chevy belair,Morris /Austin?,front of 62 EK Holden;behind the Chevy the front wing of a 60 FB Holden and far over, a 64 EH Holden sedan(the most popular car in Aus. at the time.)
#3 can't help but think that four door would have been so much better with a broader C pillar...do away with the panoramic rear screen? imho.
