It’s not a lot if you want it. Can’t buy a lot of cars going up in value for it…32 Ford any model is THE year.

  7. I’d drive it.
    Wouldn’t paint it either

$45K project...I guess depends on how bad you want it.
    I'll pass.

  12. Do you remember when years ago that 3 window's were bring almost a hundred grand from the barn? 32 prices have always been an interesting study. :)

A friend of mine has a neat old Vicky. He had to marry into the family to get it.

I'd be real surprised if he got near that but there's no way to tell if he does. FB is a crazy place to sell stuff. It seems everyone is asking big bucks but there aren't many buyers.

I've been in discussions with a few people what were asking $5K+ for complete rot bucket Ford trucks. There are always replies from people saying what a great deal they are but not one of the "great deal" guys seem to want crack open their wallets and buy the "great deals".

Someone with Money that will send to a famous name shop, spend 10x the purchase price to build it, televise the build, pick it up 1-2 years from now, turn the key, drive it a few times and off to Barrett Jackson.
    That sounds about right.

    I’d do that too.

Oh man I'd love that. Make it roadworthy and leave the body as is. If the body is as good as it looks I don't see the price as being totally outrageous.

  20. I have 1934 Victoria in similar condition, that I'd think of letting go for about half that asking price. What a steal!

Some are a questionable buy and some are a good buy , only the buyer can make the decision correctly . Myself that one is not priced correctly .

It's not a screamin' deal, but it's not insane levels either. The pictures/presentation of the car are horrible though, no mention if the missing pieces are there, filthy, pictures with oddly tied straps on a trailer and the clearly run down building it was pulled from. Lots of spelling errors and odd punctuation in the listing leads me to believe the seller is not very smart.

If the missing pieces are there, if it has a****le, someone who really appreciates old paint/originality of the body might pay that for it, or close. Would help if it was at least cleaned, with some decent pictures. A*****ty ad for a neat old car.

Dang, If I had the 40 K sitting around I'd be asking my old army buddy if he has any customers out west buying a roll back from him that wants fuel money. That black one spins my wheels more than a little bit.

As far as that "barn find dirt adds value" Vicky, I'd bet dollars to donuts that he paid about a third of what he is asking and posted it for sale on his phone before he got it loaded on the trailer after telling the old boy that owned it that it was his dream car and he was going to keep it forever. With that one I'd bet cash green money and a tow rig and trailer parked out front will talk loud if it doesn't sell in a couple weeks.

I’ve no idea was ‘32 Fords are going for or what one is worth, etc.
But starting high can do one of a few things.
    He’ll near get his price.
Run off those that feel the price isn’t even close enough to negotiate..

Or he’s willing to negotiate and is starting high.

If you have something to sell, to you put current value as the asking price, then come down? Or start high?

I haven’t seen anyone, I may have missed it though, that said it’s only worth “xx-dollars”.

So what is a reasonable price for it that everyone as a seller-not a buyer-would put on it if you were listing it forsale?

They're quite obviously showing where it was extracted from and in what condition to show it was a true barn find. Sure, they could be more descriptive about if the missing parts are there, but cleaning the car would miss the point in this case.
