It takes a pretty high “dosage” to get me excited these days. But being able to reunite the only other two known Marshman Flathead Ford Superchargers back with the one I’ve had for a few years does it for me. We’re pretty sure these were made by George Marshman. He was a well known local dirt racer and race promoter. He ran the local Sanatoga Raceway among others in the 40’s and 50’s. His son Bobby Marshman went on to be a successful racer and eventually ran at Indy. Sadly we haven’t been able to find any advertisements or drawings to learn more about these.. but we do know at least three exist and three should be put back on cars and used. Hoping we can use the one complete one to copy the missing parts on the others eventually. Either way I’m thankful to own these pieces of hot rodding and racing history. #irontrapgarage

Those Halibrands could be cracked, I'd be careful, better get rid of them.

I get first shot at those if they come available. I need them for the back of the Salt Shaker so I can get rid of the circus wheels I'm running.

IMG_20231102_170638168.jpg i got 3 more rochester 2g carbs in the mail today! Thank you to @Pass The Torch ! That makes a total of 12 that ive bought in the last year or so. I FINALLY have a set with true chevy tripower secondary carbs!
I guess the only LOGICAL thing to do now would be to start looking for a offy 4x2 pacesetter intake to bolt these extra rochester carbs to???? Uuuggh! LOL

Bolted, just like the Rochester dog house, using the original tapped holes.

When I worked at a Chevrolet Dealership, those F.I. base plates were $30. Wish I had bought a bunch of them!
