    Thanks. The Mabley is an interesting car. I think they call it a "diamond" wheel arrangement. I've seen another made like that.

    The starting line at the Grand Prix de L'ACF des Cyclecars, Amiens, France, 1913. In car number 25 is J Ronteix, in car number 26 is Jolibois, and in car number 27 Francis. Ronteix finished third, Jolibois seventh, Francis did not finish.

    1914 Cycleplane:
    The two-passenger Traveler model was powered by a ten h.p. V-twin engine, final drive to the rear wheels was by V-belts.

    Not sure if it is the actual car or a nice replica, but there is one in Bill Smiths Museum of Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska.

    I have always loved the cutaway drawings. Road and Track had one in almost every issue. Whole cutaway engines are great too.
