    @twenty8,
    Do you know what body that is on Swifty's bucket? Maybe Dodge?

    Answer for @GearheadsQCE the body was made up from a 1924 "Dalgety T" cowl, 27 T doors and a early A tub section. The cowl and doors were found dumped on bush tracks around our town and the A tourer was on top of the junk pile at the local wreckers. We tacked all the bits together then pruned the result until it "looked right".

    Ford Australia did not start building T's here until the 1926/27 Model. Dalgety were a wool merchant, stock and station agent etc here in the 1920's and they made a number of T models in the early to mid 20's which I guess finished when Ford started production.

    I badly wanted a short cowl T like Marty Holmans HRM cover car and searched long and hard before I started the build, just like my builder friend and mate Eddie Ford did looking for a 1932 5 window coupe . Both of us ended up empty handed and had to use an alternative LOL.

  8. So after literally looking at all 72 "pages" of mainly "buckets" i have determined that just like 33ish years ago when I was 12 I still like a T bucket and although I didn't make a single mention during my surfing the billet, 15" wide tires and pastel paint are definitely not what I would consider in the spirt of the HAMB. I personally would let the 1970s photos and style slide because it was still 50ish years ago and it was typically cool looking but billet rodz are where I draw the line I'm all about user creativity but don't post them here. Those who did this you know who you are you're lucky I'm not a snitch lol.
    Also I saw model A's, my vision is pretty bad but that cowl gas cap and early 30s styling just screams "A".

    @swifty
    Thanx for the response. I didn't think that the cowl was a typical U.S. piece. I'm doing something similar piecing together several bits and hoping it will look right when done.

    I like the way yours came together.:D

    Hey, I race that car. It is one of the funnest little flatheads to drive, and it will run a high 7 in the eighth mile. It now has a 4-71 blower on it, which works a lot better than the big one did. IMG_1013.jpeg

    Yep, a small blower takes care of a flathead’s breathing problem…asthma!

    Should be a “love it” instead of “like” choice. B7962C85-5C75-4AE6-AA53-3ACBA2A3515A.jpeg
