I have been meaning to photograph this for a while. 1946 Buick, it seems. (?) I didn't realise there was a second one behind. I wonder if it was also a hearse before it became a First Aid Rescue vehicle.

Dagnabbit, would one, I say would one of you dadgum hoodlums please save the dadgum ambulances ( rescue that is) .

 

(sigh) How the hell did anything this solid and complete end up at Pick-A-Part? no wonder he didn't finish it, there ain't no way that engine is going to work that way.

 

This old 4x4 is a rare beast. Used to detect UFOs in the Australian desert in the 1940s . Still has the rare detection antena fitted

 

This is still there sitting and rotting.
