Excellent project @snoop74! The look of your '35 Standard is spot on, lovin' your engine choice of either a 348/409 with a Manafre 4 deuce setup - where in this world did you find this manifold setup for a 348/409? I didn't think it ever existed - years back, I found a 6 deuce setup for the 348/409 and thought that was ULTRA rare... Keep us posted!!

Offenhauser repops both the 4x2 and the 6x2 for relatively cheap. Going to start getting the engine together here in the next couple of the weeks. Frame is about done- just need to plumb lines and put the body back on

Chevy BB-Hemi? You may have to replace the Chevy wood with rubber! :D
    I really like seeing 348s & 409s.

Your Man-A-Fre setup is just a killer look. Do you have all four linked up to run together? What CFM are those Holley 94's/Stromberg 97's?

Yeah I have all 4 linked together with linkage from Stromberg. They’re factory jetted 97’s so they’re around 200-250 cfm I’d think. I’m waiting on the barb fittings to come in so I can finally break in the cam. Super nervous for that with 4 carbs

You may need a fuel pressure regulator if the carb bowls get flooded. Thinking of making a small video (using Youtube, copying the entire link and paste into your post) on the first startup and long idle, knowing all too well that you're putting a big smile on all of us hambers!!

Hmmm I hadn’t thought about it, I’m using a mechanical fuel pump so I wasn’t sure if I’d need one. Even with aFactory 3x2 set up I think Rochesters are more cfm than the strombergs. I’m going to record it for sure. I just bought some exhaust hangers so just a few more smaller things before cranking it. May get to do it Sunday, if so I’ll have it posted

A stock/high performance mechanical fuel pump puts out maximum 5-6 psi. WARNING! Stromberg 97, 81, 48 and 40 carburetors are designed for between 2.5 psi and 3.0 psi MAXIMUM fuel pressure measured at the carburetor. Excess pressure can cause flooding which may cause a fire or explosion resulting in property damage, serious personal injury or death. This clarifies that a fuel pressure regulator should be used and set at 3.0 psi for your Stromberg 97's. We're in your corner always and wish you the best on your start up!

I had no idea, thanks so much for the info. Typically I’m a GM guy so the Strombergs are a bit new to me. I’ll have to grab one and set it up. I was under the impression the pressure would drop with it going to 4 carbs
