Funny no one ever liked putting the spark plug wires where the belonged.

It was a joke. Actually, I’ve never owned a new or stock GM product but I’m hoping it wasn’t the same engineers that designed the engine mounts in the mid to late 60s. ;)

Craftsman/Atlas lathe and accessories I got on an online auction. The former owner liked letter and number punches. Thats 3 stacks of them behind the lathe. Also, a sign, Tonka hot rod, 2 old Matchbox cars, and a couple other pieces from a toy car collectors show. lathe1.JPG lathe2.JPG sign.JPG

K D 700 valve spring compressor from an "Estate Sale" yesterday, was it designed for anything special? I've always used the big C clamp style ones.

Love it. Kinda reminds me of my "fruit light" a friend of mine gave me, he found it in his attic. I can't really nail down a time period on it (yours either), but people sure had some funky, colorful taste at one time.

@Okie Pete to cool, my inlaws are all from Ponca. We used to drive up to the car show on the lake then "Drag Grand" at night...Good times, neat town.
I still have a bunch of dash plaques from those days.

I found 3 more American flags at a shop in Eureka Springs AR on Saturday. I have a small collection of them and so far no duplicates IMG_7587.jpeg

When you find these NOS gauge kits and tachometers and such, do you ever consider making a scan of the installation instruction sheets? The info might come in handy for some folks working with used gauges and tachs. At least shows a wiring diagram, mounting instructions and maybe if special sending units are required.

I was wrong I have two that are the same IMG_7600.jpeg I have 6/7 clip on ties that belonged to my late Father in law. I couldn’t throw them away. So I use them to display hat and tie pins

Brought these back from my Australia trip to hang on the wall. Also, another HAMBer is sending me one from WA to go with them.

  27. I was at an estate sale a few weeks ago and saw this truck. I initially posted it in the 'sitting and rotting' thread. The more I thought about it the more I decided to save it. I don't even have it home and I already bought a front clip and bed. 1963 f100 swb factory V8. IMG20231109163515.jpg IMG_20231122_230819.jpg IMG20231109155902.jpg IMG20231128171025.jpg

Can't beat that for a hundred bucks! Especially being a short box. Looks fairly clean too, at least by Wisconsin standards.

  29. Yeah that's what I was thinking, plus it came with a hood. I found the pile of front clip parts at the same place for $50. I went home and looked on marketplace and found the short box for $150. So far I'm at $300. Still need a tailgate and running gear.

Just got this today, haven't been this excited to try out a new tool in a long time. Didn't get any oil with it so I ordered some and I'll have to just wait until it shows up to start wrecking shit. I can think of all kinds of projects I could mediocre together with this once I get the hang of it.
