Saw these on FB today. “San Leandro Nostalgia: The Oakland Speedway - this race track was located where Bayfair Mall is now. It was razed in the 1950s to allow for Macy's to build their department store there. In the 1970s, the site was developed into an open-air shopping mall, and in the 1990s it was enclosed to be what it is today.” I think my grandpa (that's him in the avatar pic) probably raced here back in the day, but I have no pictures of that.
