At nearly 70 years old this thread gives me inspiration to start assembly models again

 

Working on this 60s Monogram 40 pickup,came with a damaged cab so I picked up a 80s version for parts.

 

That's^^^^^a cool kit... I have a few including the Indy pace car kit....

 

Been building models for a long time. My parents bought me an 1/8th scale Ideal 53/54 vette for Christmas in 53 or 54, don't remember. What I do remember is that I likked it so much they bought me another one the next Christmas....I was hooked. Recently bought a real nice one, in the box. I do need a couple of parts for it. Anyone have a source or extra parts laying around? Thanks, Tim (pic is the one I just got)
