62-65 Superstock Mopars picture thread..

Early hemi a go go

 

Late 65 as a 10/15 altered wheelbase car.

 

How it looks today. Supposedly one of the better examples of a 60s racecar. Never tubbed, never caged(full rollbar, its got an early hoop). Paint is from the mid/ late 70s. Saw a video of him running a low 11 within the last decade. Takes some balls

 

Owwww! That makes my eyes hurt. Can not be un-seen!

 

Not sure why it's classed as s/sa. Appears to be a 426 street wedge according to the 365 hp callous on the fender. Cool car. My dad and uncle both had 426 sw hardtops in the late 70s. One 4spd and one automatic.

 

Never saw the ferris motors car cut up before. Always saw it as an s/sa car. Appears to be a 64 or 65 hemi car. Cant tell for sure. Interesting shot.

 

@guffey Same car? Not that many had the post cut out and the hoop looks the same. Same wheels.

 

Plumbers nightmare. Turbo honker.

 

Always loved the looks of that car.
