both run similar suspension. Ansen drop axles, posies super low front springs, reverse eye main leaf in the rear with longer shackles.
the 39 on stock wheels and caps. 5.00/5.25 and 7.50s
Mine is on Merc 15s with 5.60's and 8.20's

One of these days mine is going to be cool enough to be in this thread. Getting closer, replaced the tired flathead with a rebuilt one a couple months ago.

  8. might as well. It’s still got one messed up rear fender! Once I get through the nightmare that is the day job I might just do it.

Yours has always been one of my favorites! You guys have probably made fun of me for taking tons of pictures of it in the past at the SRNs.

Just picked this up on a trade. gonna do reverse eyes, extended shackles in the rear, drop axle up front with another reverse eye.

right now it is stock tired suspension. tires are 600-16 and 700-16. rears might be too big but thats what i had lying around.

alot of good info on here but i see a lack of tire sizes. i feel that plays into the stance of a car ALOT.

Here's another shot of it I saved from a thread of photos taken by @Tom davison , I think at the GNRS?
You're right - not a bad angle on that car.

  21. love it! I ran 7.0 16s on the rear of my 39 till I went chrome 15 inch wheels. They were a tight fit but no problems for about 2 years and 5000 miles in that time.

Hamber @Chris has a way with these...and also the other details in getting things right...it's a personal thing though...

@Nailhead Jason has a Sedan that sits nice...who else... @Pinstriper40 and I'm trying to think of another Hamber...can't recall but he raced it...there are many really and just ask if you don't see it mentioned...
