1953 Club Coupe
Built by Roy Griffin of Tacoma Washington.
In this condition for about 15 years.
I've had it just over 2 weeks.
I love the "mild" look, and couldn't be happier I found her.
Getting a proper radio is on the list, among a few other things.

 

It s very very very nice. You are really lucky to have acquired it

Yeah, a 53 coupe is on my to do list. Saw one for sale locally. Of course I wanted it.

The mirrors on that blue '53 Ford stick out like a boner in sweatpants. Really pretty car otherwise, though.

My 1961 Plymouth Fury is perhaps not a mild custom really, I just put a set of 30 spoke Weld Wheel wires on it. I think it looks sharp, it also has an uncanny resemblance to the rare Ghia coupe.

 

Love the '61 Fury. It's one of those cars where, if you wanted to customize it, what would you even do? There's not really anything to shave off of it, or obvious places to cut it up.

I love the Speed Queen clock, too.

The 59 Ford is like that. I want to customize it but its already so weird, what to do?

 

Smooth, lower, nose, deck, shave it & drive the daylights out of it!
