What are we using for tail lights on a Model A. I thought looking for patina tail lights but like to see what else looks good Thanks Full fendered roadster Pre war build
Mine's had '61 Corvair tail lights since at least 1965. Sorry no pics, and the lights are out of it at this time...
Old mock-up pic. I went with the simplistic '50 Pontiac repos but decided against using these with the blue dots. I built a set of tucked in stock style bumpers to round it out. Blown apart for paint now.
Not the best angle, but '50 Pontiac tail lights and Triumph parking lights used for back-up lights here.
Thanks. The roll pan was made by Metaltwister at Bengel's Hot Rod Seats. Turns out my A is a little asymmetric and Bob was going to make one that fit better but, I believe, passed away before he got around to it. I like it even as it is.
46/47 Chev from speedway. They feel like good quality. The wiring harness came with the third brake light circuit so I reused the tail light that came with the car
A Model A truck should have Ford truck taillights. Actually, the F-100 tail lights bolted right up to the '29 A taillight brackets! The Ford logo light in the box is a stoplight used in a trailer hitch receiver
Most go newer,I went older,my Grandad had {1910}2 Rayo driving lamp's in the the rafters of his barn. I asked for them,he said sure. Used them for tailights,by adding 12v. For my 1928A Bobtailed A-bucket.
It took me three years to find these 1930-31 Cadillac tail lights, they will go on my '29 Steelback with 1928 brackets. It could take another three years to find the Tail Light thread that was started here within the last 7 days. Bob
Using 1932 lights, repo rear frame rails added on to the Model A frame, spreader bar, and frame rail covers with a 32 fuel tank.
Although a bad pic, the best I have now. I like the Chevy tail lights, all personal preference though
