Are you going to do a build thread? Be good to know what you find in parts availability these days. I have a ‘63 401 on the stand that might need the same. Thanks!

Love the rear wheel radius treatment. Still remember a similar '55 when I was in HS in the late '60's. Looked fast just sitting in the school parking lot.

Getting an old truck running. I had to clean some gunk out of the innards of the carb. Didn't need a kit, fortunately.

IMG_0150.jpeg IMG_0142.jpeg Took a break from my engine rebuild tonight. I bought a cheap HF sandblasting cabinet a couple years back on sale, so extra cheap. I had no room for it at the time. Now with my new shop I have the room, and will soon have the need, so figured I’d start assembling it tonight.
My son bought an obviously OT 4 wheeler project last week. I don’t have much interest in those things, but it gets the kid out in the shop and tools in his hand, and next to the old man-me.
Tonight he pulled and inspected his clutch plates.

25204.jpeg Been working on a ton of stuff, some slightly off topic including my new daily driver. Hopefully enough on topic stuff in this shot at the shop:D

  9. You got the whole tri-five contingency there 5,6 and a 7

  10. Unbeknownst to me I never made the gauge lights operable the first time around on the 41.
I dig out the 30 yr old autometer box to find my layout templates, instructions, the red/green bulb condoms but only 1 of the 5 guage lights.
$50 freaking dollars for 4 of these little bastards !

  14. Today I made hotel reservations for Bowling Green next year. It will be Little Truckdoctor and my first time there. We are going to hang out with Lloyd and hopefully meet more of our HAMB brothers and sisters. With Bowling Green and Lloydfest, it’s shaping up to be a Kentucky kind of year!

Sold an o/t vette last night that was my youngest son’s car before he traded it to the dad bank to buy something else which frees up both cash and time to work on something I want to work on. But, I also am in the process of maybe buying back a slightly o/t Chevelle that I built for my brother back in 91. My brother and I traded it back and forth a few times over the years until we sold it to a friend of mine in 2017. Anyway, it can be bought back now I think, or it is at least sitting in my shop until we make a deal. It needs some work too and isn’t really my taste anymore, but also tough to forget all the memories with my brother and even my boys in it. Thinking I might sell another car and try to get it back. No real pics here since it is o/t, but this shot could be ok? My grandson at least seems to like it. IMG_0818.jpeg

  30. Great picture, and to quote someone famous here, I’d race it!!!!
