Lots of them in this part of the world, probably mostly because they were about the first readily available 4 wheel drive rigs and that was a big advantage on our early roads. However, call it a Williss around here, nobody would know what the hell you're talking about, haha.

Also, just a guess, but I'll bet if you asked every soldier that came home from WWII who made all the Jeeps, damned few would say Williss built them.

65 Sport Fury Convertible. Possibly a pace car based on the color combination.

Looks like someone painted the hubcaps with Chrysler engine turquoise at one time.

Just because I'm having fun being a wee bit argumentative...

Calling an engine a motor doesn't make it right, nor does calling a baseball cap a hat, but it seems to be completely acceptable to almost everyone now days.

Even if it causes the sensation of fingernails on a chalk board to some, I think that the American version of english no longer cares how the founder of the company pronounced his last name. Since old John North Willys would be 150 years old this year, I doubt he'll make too big a fuss about his name being mispronounced, haha. He probably didn't care too much when he was alive, as long as his automobiles were selling.

    Okay, I'm done now, lol.
