Since it's an AD truck, I would call it A.D.D.

Maybe a litte "ADIOS" in the bottom driver side corner of the tailgate wouldn't hurt, seeing as it's an AD......

If you will recall, you painted a car for a HAMBr some time back, I asked you to put a “special thing” where only one could find it.Do that in a special way;)
    Keep the truck classy.
And as many have said, so glad to see you back in the saddle.

Great shop truck, a little advertising on the door might bring some work in. Does this one get paint?
Edit - Please don't use wheel adapters!

  8. Yeah, you don't want to chase away business by offending prospective customers who don't care much for anything based on an F-bomb. Not to mention wives & small children of friends who are around.

It would look really cool with your business name on the doors & like was mentioned "Adios" on the tailgate.:D

    God Bless

A friend of mine has a big yard, he does not buy anything older than a 09. Wheels have been hard to find around here for years.

Some inspiration from this morning’s pre Colorado Blvd (Rose Parade route) staging for the New Year’s Eve Cruise. IMG_2368.jpeg

One cool thing about these trucks is they look great chopped. But don't need it. Either way a win.

Yep. All the steel wheels went to the crusher because they weren't wanted.
Now it can be like looking for rocking horse shit.

Last time a did a deck I found that the new pressure treated stuff is so corrosive you have to use special screws or nails or they will rust through. Not good for contact with metal. Oak or ash are good, harder than Hell and long lasting if treated with waterproofing periodically. I've got enough 2 x 6 ash that's been drying for 30 years to do 3-4 pickups. Yours if you can pick up from Northern Michigan. I'm afraid the cost of shipping would be prohibitive.

I appreciate the offer, my buddy has a ton of cherry stacked in his barn, he said i can have all I want, just don't think a nice, pretty bed floor will look right in this truck. Maybe if it was getting painted.

Hey buddy, T1-11 is a quick and cheap solution for a bed floor...I've used it on a couple of builds (sorry, no good pics). Took a belt sander to take down the roughness, 3 coats of marine spar varnish, and good to go. 0.29.jpg

3/16 plate will add some weight back there if traction is a consideration.
It will add about 7 lbs a sq. ft.

If you have a pogo stick and chain you can put hood springs on easy peasy. All you really need is the chain, just put the hook on the spring after you hood the lower end on and pull the other end on with the chain. Don’t make an easy job complicated. It worked 60 to 70 years ago fine.

No sir I didn't. None of them are close enough for my liking lol. I just threw it out there, it's not priority. It has wheels and tires on it.

I seen Ian do that once, put steel strips in the grooves. Looked pretty good. Mine is 50" inside, so I would have to use trim around the sides.

As far as a bed material, used aluminum bleacher seats make a good durable bed, just somewhat hard to find at a reasonable price. I'm keeping my eye out for my truck as I used boat deck material over plywood but would rather have the aluminum for durability (about +1" height) and easy to take care of. Just another option to consider.
