True story: Years ago I spotted a battered 4-door Chevy, and since the dude was right there I pulled over and asked if was for sale. I kid-you-not, he told me a scrapper was on its way and he would not back out of their deal. BUT, he'd let me have all the trim parts I could yank off before the scrapper arrived, since they didn't really weigh anything. I grabbed what I could.

Pretty easily converted into a 2 door sedan for those who prefer that as well. Sad to see, hopefully not the final chapter in this car's life.

What model is this? Biscayne? Gotta be the base model. No trim at all. They had to buy glasses for cousin Toad in the back row.

    Show me.

I haven't actually looked at a factory service manual for recent model years. The newest vehicle in my fleet is 1997. However, the 1997 service manuals show heater motor, starter motor, power window motors, wiper motor but the vehicle is propelled by an engine connected to the chassis by engine mounts.

Then why is the company called General Motors, or the Ford Motor Company? It's not General Engines, or the Ford Engine Company. :p

  25. Looks like it,s just been pulled out. See the tow strap on the trunk lid. Tractor marks in the mud and all the broken off scrub roots sticking out of the mud. Rear wheel is also stuck in the mud. Sure was,nt the cleanest shed in the neighbourhood.

You're right, hope someone makes a nice custom out of that one. Usually, X frame quarters & rockers are absent when you find 'em.
