Happy to report........The "Executioner" is safe and in Nor Cal, I will not be restoring it back to stock, but i will be correcting somethings back to period correct late 60s speed equipment. Back to spindle mounts, Pie crusts, loose that scoop, and toss the heat shields off the pipes, Then put the axle back on the bottom of the leafs

 

That's a bunch of buttons. I like it.

Working on this 58. A previous shop that the owner won't talk about Installed a disc brake kit up front and a dual master cylinder and couldn't get the brakes to work and just let it go. All the lines were loose and leaking and tons of air in the system. Wheel cylinder leaking in the rear and contaminated brake shoes. Once all that was fixed, it works great.

 

This things like an AMT kit come to life….

 

My new junk. Used to be an old drag car. Straight axle is long gone but leaf mounts still exist on frame. Has stock suspension now. Just going to make a fun hot rod to drive on the street. Probably a west coast car and figure the hood scoop is unique. Maybe some pictures exist of it in action.
