Grille shell fabrication. Plaster model, wheeling panels, welded assembly, flange for hood seal.

 

Aluminum hood was formed with a slip roller to get the arc. Flanges were made by bending up bottom edges. Support structure made by bead rolling a frame structure. Custom made goose-neck hinges for a side opening hood. Sanding out imperfections to make the polished graphic sweep.

1924 Peugeot 172 BS Grand Sport

 

Wind deflectors in poly carbonate with aluminum mounts.-
Wood rimmed steering wheel in 2 hardwoods with 6062 T6 aluminum center.
Pedals are Wilwood units with etched copper pads.

Limited production is the goal but funds are insufficient.

 

Upper and lower A-arms with heim joint ends for adjustability. Rack and pinion steering with no bump-steer. Engine turned dash and cowl panel with bead roll. Adjustable pivot steering wheel. Front trunk with brake and clutch reservoirs. Engine turning is done with fine valve grinding paste on felt pads for deeper scratch than a Cratex stick. Lockable glove box contains front hood release lever.

That looks great, Fred. Did you eyeball the spacing?

 

I did it on the mill table so I cranked it the same for each spot but I was not terribly accurate with that. I wanted a bit of "hand made look" with it.
