It’s all GM, from memory it’s a big gmc engine 32 chevy frame with AD truck axles and brakes. Pretty straight forward I’ll see what I can dig up. It’s been an on again off again project for a few years but the idea was to keep it all gm. IMG_0727.jpeg IMG_0736.jpeg Twins??? I Found the black and white photo after the build

Few I found while in progress and at the roc. Lots and lots of cool details. I love how the drilled backing plates turned out. IMG_1761.jpeg IMG_1762.jpeg IMG_1763.jpeg IMG_1764.jpeg IMG_1765.jpeg IMG_1766.jpeg IMG_1767.jpeg IMG_1768.jpeg IMG_1769.jpeg IMG_1770.jpeg IMG_1772.jpeg

Understood - thinking outside the box! Have you decided which gauges you're going with - going to be an eye grabber for sure!

Tim, your buddies '32 Chevy 5 window coupe is the best of its kind yet... Meaning, I haven't seen another '32 Chevy as a nostalgia hot rod! The photo of his rod showing the rear view put a smile on my face because that rear lid is EXACTLY what I need to do on my '31 (reversing my rumble lid to a trunk lid). I've been scoping out those rear trunk hinges for a while now (Chevy's of the Fourties has a nice set), it's the bottom trunk handle and the latch mechanism that is tough to find. May I ask what he used? Possibly a close and detailed photo of his latch mechanism on the inside of his trunk would be ideal to help with this search...
Perfect choice! Those are the Stewart Warner "Wings" gauges, right?

Yeah he knows what a hot rod is supposed to look like that’s for dang sure. I don’t know what the latch is but I’ll take a look next time I see it

It is really getting tough to find GMC six stuff. 302 a are better than 270s. It seems 270 pistons just dried up. I know 3 guys that have quit 270 builds because they couldn't find pistons they could afford. You have to be patient.

Believe me and countless others, what matters most is that we strive to achieve the Traditional look that we pride ourselves with!

It would be nice if you would select full size images when you post them on here instead of the thumbnails

Some of us don't have a fast internet provider so it takes awhile to open up the thumbnails while it is simple for you to post them as full size images! All I'm asking for is simple coutesy on your part.

My 34 Chevy Master needs a chop and maybe channeling but this is my first hot rod. How will the sheet metal in front of the firewall need to be changed if I channel the body? IMG_4467.jpeg

The majority of the rods I've seen use the silver engine turned sheets - they both show great detail either way! Great job!

Easy Mr. Stevens, you're coming across a bit harsh in your statement...

I don't think that was the least bit 'harsh' just a simple statement of fact.
