When I started building my Shoebox my friend said I was doing it just to pick up girls. I hadn't thought of that; I said no but that would be nice!

 

I've always heard "customs are for get'n girls and hot rods are for get'n rid of them".

 

So while swapping stories on our lunch break, my friend says, "I was doing 75 in a 60 max mph when I realized I was in the middle of a speed trap....... It was too late to slow down so I poked my elbow out the window and leaned back in the seat to look like I was doing 55".

One out of two ain't bad........

 

My eyes are playing tricks on me....oh...thats right,,,This is the amusing thread,,,,never mind,,,,,

 

That, and making a multiple-bend fuel line. Left bends, right bends, slight angles. Fits great, and it even has a small amount of surplus pipe length. Then you make the last bend, and bend it left-instead-of-right (or up-instead-of down).

The thirty seconds of self-searching.... do I try to straighten it out and re-bend the last one again, or start from scratch?

He has the steering covered, Ill give him that much, but what about the other controls.
I guess only a video might explain it, could be entertaining.

 

You can just put it in gear and set the throttle lever to a slow crawl then jump out and then back in when you’re done.
Just make sure you don’t slip and get run over by the rear wheels. You’ll be hamburger after that.

 

That's where the part about the entertaining video comes in!
