Go to the Tri-Five Nationals. Bunches and bunches of rallys and D spokes.

I got invited to the Tri five nationals to have my 55’s be feature cars a couple of years ago. I looked a few videos of past events and then politely turned them down...

Not one pic of those wheels on anything exists, anywhere. Probably discontinued in 1965 too, for obvious reasons. So, he's still an expert.

There are a few really nice cars there. Just too many with stock style paint and trim with D spokes or rally wheels. I am a big fan of straight spoke five spokes. I've had a set on my '34 since 1984.

"57 Chevy 210 2dr sedan" that's not what the photo shows.
Hard to tell, is that a BelAir or a standard two-ten hardtop with the longer BelAir quarter trim caps, seen it done many times.

They're Torq Thrust wheels designed to fit around disk brakes, so they're 5 spoke like a regular Torq Thrust but each spoke has an outward curve to it, as opposed to the original "straight spoke" design. It's a modern re-interpretation of the original wheel, and much less attractive if you care about period correctness.

curved spoke americans that were originally made for disc brake clearance on the then new 65 corvettes. The modern American torque thrust 2's have a curved spoke also but it bears no resemblance to the originals and in my opinion is an awful "street rod" wheel
