I think it need new rings!!
That happened on my Morgan when I left the oil feed on over night. Filled the crankcase with oil. I drained it but the cylinders were really wet. LOL

Well, those are my 2 favorite Marques other than Morgan.

 

A good friend in England got this for me. Imagine a time when you could easily get parts from outfits like Chater Lea...or go down to the breakers and find light weight parts to build your cyclecar.

 

Not so easy today but today IS much easier to do a restoration than it was 40 years ago.

 

Salmson recently discovered in France. No mention of the car in the left of the photo. Pics from PWC.

 

They may not be ready to sell the other car.

Beautiful work. My guess is that he doesn't use that for racing. It would be too heavy with all the added stuff.

 

I guess everyone has seen the extensive build blog of the Jappic. I think 2 of them have been built.
