Is it just me or does this phaeton remind anyone else of the neat rods and kustoms in Robert Williams' fabulous art? To me it looks like one of the cars that might have been in the Hot Rod Race picture that Mr. Williams did back in the mid 70s.



This car would be a lot of fun to bomb around in on hot summer nights. Funny how everything has come full circle. Less is more, crusty is kool and more doors don't matter! E

 

My dad used to have a copy of the hanging on the wall in his office at work. Don't know what happened to it after he passed

 

Lol! That same thought hit me when I first saw pictures of the Ford at GNRS. It would fit right in to the poster. I have it hanging in my office. Thanks Ed for sharing your thoughts....

This one is out of Sweden and hope to be finished in the near future. It is a '54 Chevy that was taken out of the woods. back in the 90s. and which began to be rebuilt. The car is, among other things, lowered. sectioned, lowered over a 70a Chevelle frame with accompanying floor. the car is rebuilt everywhere and even from 4-door to 2-door with suicide doors. Going to be kool..

 

The build has my attention. I love it.

 

Better not let @Moriarity see this. He’s got a thing for quad headlight customs you know.

 

This looks like a 42-47 Ford truck. Do you have any more info on this one?
