Hey @jeepsterhemi I'm kind of surprised to see so many Pontiacs in your photos. I realize the Canadian Pontiacs were hybrid Pontiac/Chevrolet, which probably narrowed the pricing gap between the two (as opposed to U.S. models/pricing) but the apparent market share held by Pontiac seems to have been pretty high! Am I right or just imagining things (I do that sometimes)?
Olds made a big deal out the new automatic and gave delivery priority to returning WW II amputee veterans.
You are right, I always saw more Pontiac than Chevrolet, more GMC truck than Chevrolet, more Météor than Ford, more Fargo than Dodge, and a good portion of British and French cars....but I'm a little bias as my uncle was a Pontiac saleman... ....OH!! and coming back from school with my cousin, we stop by the Coke distributor agency to sit for hours in a brand new gold on gold Avanti, (Mr Dufresne's car), and a used Mercedez Gullwind.
