Projects Surprise Visit today from Unshined 2 and Max Gearhead

Today I had the pleasure of a short visit from two friends from here... Unshined 2, and Max Gearhead.
They were down this way to pick up some parts, so stopped for a short visit.
Always a pleasure to spend time with friends that are what this forum is all a bout !!

I have know Jim (Max Gearhead for several years thru this forum) He is not quiet, we just speak telepathically

Love the ShoeBox. My Dad’s first new car was a ‘49 two door when I was 9 years old.

 

Avoid thumbnails, hit the "Full Image" button......Sounds like you guys had a fun day.

I am (80) years old with some handicap issues and have been working on it of two years now. I have wanted a Shoebox since I was Fourteen.
Was not much to start with, but hoping to be driving it in a few months...... (driving, not completed)

 

Keep pushing forward, Bob! You have a good thing going there. Was good to stop by and chat for a bit and see your project in person!

Hopefully you'll be able make it over for the Mississippi Mayhem this fall, maybe swing by and see Max Gearheads project.

 

I was wondering the same thing, hoping Max isn't a mute.

 

Oh Max will talk.....you just have to hold 409 parts in front of his nose to get him to start to warm up a bit!

 

Only time I see those two hoodlums is at Mayhem, and yes he does talk.

409 part or a pulled pork sandwich works too . . . so I've heard.

 

Sometimes I think that's the only reason he goes to the Mayhem

I also know he gets pretty wound up about a good Edsel . . .
