I've been hearing 1st gen vettes are hot lately but this is fuckin ridiculous.

It looks like someone ripped the burnt 'glass away. I had some 'glass in a fire for hours and it didn't hardly burn at all but broke up easier.

A news blurb wasn't hard to find on that Corvette with the engine fire. It looks like the fire department got to it quick and maybe someone had a fire extinguiser to slow it down a bit. Screenshot (1049).png

When I was a teenager, I watched a Vette burn to the ground, I suspect is was a much newer one. It was an interesting thing to watch. I've seen other cars burn to the ground as well, Vettes burn differently.

This one looks like a great place to move away from the "all stock" the Vette purists loves so much, and build something real people might like.

Not a Vette lover, I've worked on them before. Most are way over rated and their fame comes from a few years spread over a long time frame.

My daughter was impressed with both you and Randy at Lloyds but says she will be seriously disappointed in you if you put skirts on that. Just saying;).

All I can ad to this is that when I was putting mine together I bought a burned cowl section from a 62 Vette . It provided me with all the missing metal dash structure and brackets that were hacked outa my car back when. It was like digging through smelly ass dirty troll hair getting it apart....

Corvettes are like a hot chick. Great to look at, but a bitch to maintain.

  15. That is a good and a BAD thing. I have sinus issues, may have scorched my nose innards with too strong of an essential oil last year. For me to smell something, it has to be really good or quite offensive. Hence I keep on top of my housekeeping.

As long as I take my weekly bath I’m good to go ha ha, the good thing is I could drive a roasted vette no problem.

if you want to see what a burned vette looks like up close, scraplifegarage just posted a youtube video of an off topic vette(2011) that they paid $6,000 for and you can see the fiberglass hanging like hair and if you want to see engine carnage that is represented too in the same vette.

i know i burnt up a fiberglass boat years ago but i cut it up in like 2 foot squares and burnt them in my container only a couple at a time and it burnt very hot and very nasty smoke. it left some kitty hair behind that i threw into the garbage but then when i cleaned my burning pit out i did also have a hard glob at the bottom too that i had to dispose of. i got another one i decided to take just to get the mercruiser out of it but i think this time after i cut it into little squares it is going to get fed into my garbage pickup overtime.

  24. I literally have to take off a shirt I have worn for a few days and give it a close up sniff to see if I can get any more service out of it. Things like cleaning the bathrooms and the cat litter have no effect on me.
