I thought that might be that car, but wasn’t sure. That is one of the cars that’s never left my mind, one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. And as recently as the 90’s? it’s still around? I remember seeing an article in RC maybe about it surviving. Always loved that car.

That crap happens to those of us who post a ton of photos all the time every once in a while. Usually if you try to edit the post. Not a biggie,
    thanks for sharing the photos.

It’s crazy because some of the backgrounds and architecture still share the same resemblance.

yes! That is an original picture of the car that was taken I believe in Florida at the last show it was displayed at before it disappeared on its way to the next show in Arizona. There’s way more to the story, but it never made it to Florida.

I don’t know how to tag the moderator guy who likes Corvettes but I have some more pictures of Kustom Vettes that I could dig out. In my travels I purchased another collection of photos when I went to Pittsburgh to pick up the 1941 Indian. I met a guy named Lloyd Dreyer who had a collection that someone in his family had. There was some East Coast flavors dating back to the 1950s and lots of stuff that seemed to be from Ohio. I saved the trophy’s from the trash, believe it or not. -germ

This thread is a poem...timeless really...without words...it sure highlights the saying that it would have been great to capture many of these moments in the flesh but I'll take these images as the alternative with the history generated in word. I have been in and of late but this is why the Hamb never disappoints...the membership and priceless content shared...thanks @Germ this stuff causes the eyes to see double and a second pass of the Thread would be the least of one's trouble...Happy Friday...live fast die hard comes to mind too...comes with the territory many times so too speak...damn...the ladies were Hot!!!

There's a lanky Lincoln in one of those images that I'll bet caught your eye as well not to mention so many other things...this is a perfect example of how Hotrod/Custom feeds off one another...without it, it is lesser...as @Moriarity...and @corncobcoupe say...Bitchen!!...;)

Just to clarify, I was the one that has used the word Bitchin'. ( a lot for a long time)
@Moriarity that is the one thing he started copying me on. ;)
I don't have as much cool shit as he does so I'm taking the one cool word I say a lot that he copied me on ......:)

Actuality... ( Bitchin' was often used by the late Gary Meadors, Good Guy's founder who I spent many years walking around the Good-Guy's show with in Desmoines) I do miss Gary.
