    Does anyone have the part numbers for Mickey Thompson aluminum third members for the 9.3 pontiac style centers ? thanks for any help

  2. Up to 1953 is AP220, 1954-56 is AP223, and 1957-64 is AP221 these are usually cast onto the bearing caps.

    This is from my 1965 1/2 catalog and only lists magnesium but I know they were also cast in aluminum. I believe the 80 at the end of each number meant magnesium but I've never owned an aluminum one to say what those numbers ended in.

    thanks for the info , i have a chance to buy one and i needed to confirm it was pontiac 9.3 and it has the ap221 number.

    Didn’t they put these in some of the Buick turbo cars?

    Uh, no. The 9.3 was much too big and by then obsolete too.
