  1. Does anyone remember this car or the story of it being found and restored? 433962682_732960458951512_1638833113550191308_n.jpg

  2. Was there ever a thread about the car? I think it was in California and I think it may have burned? I'm lost.

It was restored and then it was burned to the ground in the Paradise Calif. fire from what I remember

  4. It was the Timbs Special. Yes it was lost in the California fires a while back. I believe they were trying to rebuild it after the fire so perhaps it has been done. Rick Dore has since made a "tribute" car as well but it has elements that are not kosher for this board.

Edit: looks like is has been rebuilt it was shown at the Amelia concours this year.

I could’ve sworn that we had a thread about the car but dang if I can find it. But then again I’m not really good at finding things in the search feature

  8. TRJ did a feature on it.

I don’t think I had ever seen that car before. Thanks for posting. An engineer did that. Shocking! Lol!

There was a feature on it in TRJ #48. Neat car...powered by a Buick straight eight. It was heartbreaking when it was lost in the fire a few years back. I'm glad to see it was restored (again).

  12. ...Thanks Curt. Now I need to track down a TRJ #48.
