With modern lights on the front when signalling a headlight goes out and the signal blinks on the side your turning so maybe with both running lights on when you turn the Left signal on the right running light goes out when the left is flashing... ....perhaps since your probably using new modules that is an option in the hookup...
When I checked turn signals with parking lights on the turns were much brighter like they should be. I'll have to go back and look at the schematic to see if it's possible to have the parking lights on in both positions without over taxing the switch circuit.
So I didn't see anything saying you couldn't use a jumper to taillights, I was wondering if this had that spring thing inside they may get overloaded somehow. Or if diverting the juice to two things would somehow create a voltage drop in both directions causing a dim light. I guess an extended length of time with the headlights on will show if it's good to go or not, but they look fine on the short test.
Next up was mounting the scoop I've always just had sitting on there, the filters sit around a raised ridge and then a standard air cleaner lid about a finger width from the top of the scoop. The previous owner of the scoop drilled holes in the top of the scoop so the carb studs would stick through, finishing the top of the scoop is still on my list. My idea was to cut a couple carb studs, stick stud through hole, put the nut on a couple turns, slip the rear filter with lid in there, hold nut between fingers and screw the stud down into the carb. The nut would hold the air cleaner lid on and stud would hold scoop on, had to pick the scoop up to find the carb hole. Everything was going good until I got to the front assembly but I couldn't find the hole, what the heck is going on, then the light bulb goes off, me and the previous owner both ran the scoop on a blower. Duh, blower and tunnel ram carb spacing are different, no wonder I can't find the hole. So my other plan was to always swap scoops whenever I felt like it, so I dig out the Shelby scoop I redid to mount to the hood Damn, can't find the one inch screws I had used to bolt it down, found plenty 3/4 and 1/2 inch though, plus I never painted the underside flat black. So that was about all I accomplished other than buying and assembling some wheel dollies.
Is there nuts fastened/Glassed behind the flange with bolts up or are there just sheetmetal type screws going up...or do those short bolts go scoop down through the hood then washer and nut?

I was thinking its a pretty tight fit towards the rear but there's more room than I think...not lots but enough...perfect
I don't think the black paint is going to be dry enough anytime soon to bolt that to my hood, temps took a dive into the 20's, brought it into the house to stink it up. Lol For a temporary fix I took the crossbars I made for the original scoop and put them in there to lock it down on the test drive. Since I know all the rear lights work and no fuel filler leaks I installed the top panel of the bulkhead And the passenger seat, almost looks like a complete car again Then I moseyed over to the cold half (38 degrees) of the garage to put the dollies under the 41, which ironically is supposed to be the temp on Saturday, the big move day.
Swapped scoops, paint was dry so I chased down hardware, dialed in a couple carb studs and put some fuzzy cloth on the mounting surface. Bolted the winch in the floor and gave it a test run pulling the 57 up and letting it down, still works great, it's what I used to originally get it into the garage almost exactly 6 yrs ago.
Washed away the years of garage crud today and put about a mile of driving on it, should be fun next year to horse this thing around.

I finally succumbed to buying a plastic chrome dash emblem, I've been looking for a nice original forever and they just don't come up for sale, so I reluctantly did it. This vendor previously listed them as a 3 piece set, trunk, dash,door, but I didn't want to pay the price to just get a dash, especially if they didn't fit, he now lists them individually. I am happy to say that the studs actually lined up with the stock holes and it doesn't look half bad, the ad always had a disclaimer that some drilling may be required. It didn't come with speed nuts so I made some out of an old rubber hood bumper, I like it.
I was expecting to see a good launch or something. I hope your neighbor has a good job that has nothing to do with making videos.

I bought all 3. the small ones DON'T fit the hood. The big one fits the trunk perfect. I didn't need the glove box.
I think Corey Penny tried the hood on his YouTube channel and also said it didn't fit but I think he was drilling his own holes in the hood. I want to remember him saying it wasn't curved enough to fit.
