Dougal from Longstone Tyres and "PIGLET". The engine is a HIGHLY modified Ford Model A . Obviously this is not a trailer queen. She isn't treated kindly at all.

Bob, thanks for the video. It seems odd to me there are no counterweights on the crank. The cam is certainly unusual. Was the design used by anyone else?

I don't know how close the J.A.P. engine was to the Curtiss. They sure look the same. Though I've not seen either in person. I have seen 2 Curtiss engines in museums but not disassembled.

Panhard "Razor". It had a seriously weird steering wheel arrangement.

Actually 2 were built with 2 different size engines for record breaking attempts. One was involved in a fatal crash at Brooklands. Both cars were ordered immediately destroyed. However, one of the engines was known to have been at the factory into the 50's.More in the link.....https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2018/06/panhard-razor-blade-1926.html ac0ba4328b7c616eaf081f462cc64a21.jpg
