I saw this car hauler in the 1970's sitting in the yard at Dean Moon's Moon Equipment business.

 

Looks like a weiner mobile without the weiner.....
Or, did I spell that wrong??..

Must be really weird to drive sitting that far forward of the steering wheels. Especially around tight corners. Not even to mention the feeling of suspension travel

 

Manufacturer plate. The manufacture would have multiple plates with the same number, same as a dealer plate. Not sure on the older plates, but the new plates have the number on them of how many plates the dealer or manufacturer has. If they have 10 plates, then the plates would have a number for each plate, so 1 thru 10 on each particular plate. California dealer plates has the number of the plate count. I don't think Missouri where I am has the count number on their dealer or manufacturer plate. Did I explain that well enough? Hope I didn't make it confusing.
