    I was there and the cars were top notch. The Don Groff's hand built car was over the top, 2 Toyota 6 cylinders made into a V12 with turbocharges. Not traditional, but amazing. Kosmoski had 3 cars there. Minneapolis painter and customizer that made it nation wide into the big times.

    I'd just about bet that there were custom shop owners around the country bugging the Caddy dealership parts rooms for those tail lights within days if not hours of when the cars hit the showroom floor. Maybe even before that when sneak photos showed up.

    Bruce said all the parts were there except the block, crank and one rod and piston. Fortunately he was able to locate a standard bore block with the correct casting date . The dealer paperwork showed a dealer installed 4.89 ring and pinion so it’s pretty easy to surmise what happened to the original engine…
