Running the Dodge modified ones. I talked to Rodney ( the original owner) and he said they were fabbed from aluminum sheet originally

Is that your wax of choice? How often do you wax, I know that you drive your cars. Any tips that you have?

I bought 6 NOS cans of Kit on Ebay a few years back, I think it is from the 70's. seems fitting to wax old paint with old wax. I really like Collinite paste wax too. I wax all of my cars every spring..... even my late models

Those covers are on with Velcro. I did drive it once at night with them on and they don’t let much light through

looks like some sort of alien space bug with those covers on the headlights.:)
looking over this thread I think it would have been cool if they had removed the peak in the hood from the center and put 3 on the side lined up with the seats. do the trunk as well.

2 step Blue Coral pre cleaner then sealer was the ultimate wax to use back in the day, but no doubt Kit was way easier to apply and remove! Doing my black '63 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL "R code" , 427 dual quad 4 speed (wish I still had) when I was 17 years old was a bitch but nothing in the neighborhood looked better!
I couldn't imagine Mark Blue Coraling all of his collection let alone the late models to.
