Yep, we're doing it again! This year's date will be Saturday, September 28. The event will be held at the Crane City Park, Crane, MO, but folks will be staying in Springfield, due to the lack of hotels in the city of Crane. This allows us to do a 2 lane back roads cruise down to the park to kick off the event. B-Scott is still working on the new front of the t-shirt artwork, but here's the back art, featuring Dale Caulfield's '40 Sedan Delivery. If ya got a '40, put this one on your calendar!
Put me down for a shirt! Won't make the meet as we will be in Southern Utah doing Jeep and goat trails in our Model T's. Dave
Soon. I saw you in the truck on Saturday from across the park, but never ran into you at all. Hope you had a good trip over to the Stray Kat 500.
Man, oh, man...I have been a slacker this year. I finally got with B-Scott and decided on the t-shirt color and such. YES. I just got the t-shirts added to the website. I'm doing short and long sleeve t-shirts this year. https://roarin30s.com/product/5th-annual-midwest-forty-ford-gathering-t-shirts/
The cruise to Crane, the Ice Cream social on Friday evening and hang out with a great bunch of 40 Ford lovers. This is our 5th year.
Some day I'll be there! I'd enjoy hanging out with 40 Ford guys, I might even learn something new! Maybe even bring a few left over 40 parts to rehome!
Excellent art work as always! Out of my 4 drawers full of t shirts your Midwest 40 gathering shirts are the ones that get worn the most! Put me down for a 2X. Colors? Sam
For some reason, the notifications of replies on the post aren't showing up for me, so sorry for my tardy reply. Friday night, we'll cruise over to Braum's for Ice Cream, Saturday, we'll do a 30 mile back road cruise down to Crane City Park, where we'll hang out and admire each other's '40s, tell stories, and have great fellowship. When everybody's done, they will meander back to Springfield or head home. There's a great little BBQ restaurant most folks will wander up to for lunch, at some point in the day. No frills, no awards, just a great time hanging out with friends.
I'm having them printed on Granite colored shirts, but if you have a special request, just let me know.
Less than a week away! Really getting antsy to hit the road, even though I feel slightly unprepared. There is still time for a few more of you to get in your 40s or "Fordies" and join in!
