Thank you for the opportunity to show some slightly newer cars.

While I can appreciate the beauty and artistry in these cars. I just can’t understand hacking off a perfectly good suspension for a poor ride, no handling and no ground clearance. I truly think the work that goes into these cars is amazing! The frames, the paint and the body is off the charts.

  13. It's just one of those things. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the cool factor. E

Yep not my thing but I also appreciate the work and paint and often the interiors are out of this world cool. I have seen a few that I would like to own but they would last about a day on the road I live on.

I'm not trying to be rude or be a smart ass, but have you ever owned a car on the verge of death or butt ugly, or have you always had just really nice cars that I envy?:)

Did they ever make a ugly Riviera?!

  22. People like me with “verge of death” cars balance out the Moriaritys of the world.
I’m just trying to keep the car world in balance or in harmony.

Just my opinion, but those tiny wheels and tires look as bad as those monster truck sized wheels and rubber band tires. Nothing wrong with the design of the Astros, just the sizes. If you put an average sized tire on there with a sidewall and combine the low ride, it’d much more eye pleasing, at least to me anyway. Those big Imps need a 235/70 to be in proportion to the body instead of a Honda Civic sized wheel.
Other than that, they are artwork. The wild paint and engraving are over the top.

  27. 235/70s are for stock height trucks in the hardware store parking lot :)

I made a ton of money working on those when they were new. But the 77-78 were way uglier! They were just LeSabres with ugly paint and interior colors.
