Hoping it makes its way to subscribers and retailers eventually. Sounds like no way to renew my subscription at this point, but I'd certainly buy it. My subscription ran out with #85 which I did receive.

  6. Wow! I thought I was doing due diligence with my 2 unanswered emails.

I’m giving up hope. If I receive an email or a magazine I’ll gladly come back on here and eat crow. Sure love Rodding USA that always comes on time!

  7. Well I’m sure they aren’t a 1 or 2 man operation. Cool mag but nothing compares to TRJ imo.

  8. Well, here I am again......the guy who started this thread.........has there been any verifiable information saying when or if The Rodders Journal will actually restart, reappear, resume ........the thing I don't understand is that I think every person that has posted on this thread WANTS the magazine and WE know of more people who also WANT the magazine.......so what is exactly the problem?........I'm not an unreasonable sod, I've sent emails without getting a reply yet I still want The Rodders Journal...........this situation annoys, frustrates and exasperates me........I sincerely hope it returns as it was and we can all get what we want.............The Rodders Journal.........Andy Douglas

Dude you know exactly as much as anyone else.

they popped up at some shows and showed a magazine, sent out an email that it’s in the mail. And then no one got one.

    there’s your summary

I saw an actual copy of the new issue at LSR a few weeks ago. They are done. Probably stuck in mailing jail (similar to paint jail?).

Picked one up at Pete&Jakes Open House yesterday, so they do exist. I was bummed that I had not received mine in the mail yet.

  12. I've been a big RJ supporter all along but must admit I'm becoming frustrated with the delivery of the latest issue. I've yet to receive the new issue in the mail and have been to both Books a Million and Barnes & Noble this last week and they a do not have them yet. I feel the email was sent a little premature causing those already frustrated to become even more so. Does anyone know if they are available in Denton at their office? I live a couple hours away and wouldn't mind a roadtrip if I knew I could pick up one of each cover. I have every published issue including most A & B covers and would like to have all three of the new issue.

  14. Not sure if it will help but here’s the new phone number that’s listed in the latest issue I got.
    It’s a Maryland #: 443-448-4175
The previous issues had a Virginia number.

From what I was able to gather, they will not be available via any retailer yet. I'm sure Pete & Jake's got some for their Open House just because of who they are.

I am sincerely rooting for them to make it, but I am slowly moving over to the I'll believe it when I see it camp and will then gladly jump back on the bandwagon.

I would assume so. That’s where I get them when they are ready to mail out.

I'm in the same boat, I'm pretty sure I'm still owed two issues but haven't received this one yet.

I called Autobooks-Aerobooks today and was told they have issue #86 with three different cover photos. I stopped by and selected the one with Jim Jacob's A Model on the cover. My subscription ended with #85 which I did receive. Autobooks at (818) 845-0707 in Burbank, Calif will mail the #86 for those who want one.

This is for a 2 year subscription I bought April 2019 and received one issue from

Gave up after seeing them being given away at P&J's open house but getting there to late. I ordered cover #3 from Auto Books. I was a very early lifetime subscriber but who's life?

Just got my TRJ in the mail yesterday that I ordered from the Autobooks/Aerobooks website. Took about a week from California to Wisconsin. Perfectly wrapped and boxed.

    Reading threw thread ,
All the New Issues that have been received through the mail are from
Autobooks/Arrobooks , & Given to prominent vendors as giveaways!!
NONE have been received or delivered directly from TRJ to Existing Subscription nor Lifetime Subscriptions,
Imagine the response & comments if this was a Missing vehicle posted here on the HAMB !!

  26. Yeah, not too happy I can go order it online when they won’t just send me one because I’m a subscriber, or answer emails.

    Interesting.

  28. I don’t know how
I’ve read on Social media where some subscribers HAVE gotten them in the mail directly from TRJ. I understand some haven’t gotten them yet, but don’t sit there and say no one has.

    TRJ is a
    ""Traditional Hot Rod magazine""
The HAMB , More likely the biggest traditional Hot Rod website with a lot of subscribers and lifetime members,
You would think TRJ , Respond , Post Updates Here (HAMB)
would send Out Respond, to e-mails,
    I my self send email 2 a week !! Checking spam ,
No Respond , when TRJ in Va , was 40ish miles away from New address , Know in Md , Same distance,,
My Address same for 50 yrs,
    Phone & email more then 30 ,

Just from memory I think possibly less then 10 ,Here @ on HAMB have responded saying they received New issues in mail
Possibly directly from " TRJ", maybe seeing 4-5 ,,,

The ones that have Received new issue
    of TRJ , are You a subscriber/Lifetime Member ??
    How many ,,
Seems more have picked up a copy at local Car shows/ Events then Sent to subscribers or Lifetime.

  30. I don’t have an answer for why it’s happening except for maybe they are still just trying to get caught up first. And I believe they are getting close.
I’m not a subscriber anymore since their new location is near me. I just pick up from there once I know an issue is back from the printer.
