Yeah that's kinda why I said September. It's kinda like trying to get somebody to go to Bowling Green, it's Father's day weekend and everybody has family stuff going on. My dad is gone and my kids know I go to this every year lol. September 20th and 21st works.

2,480 mi one way if we go through my home town, which is close Moriarity’s place. It would require a big cooler and a case of Scotch - I’m good for the cooler. We should probably stop talking about it, or we’ll be leaving before we know it.

Alright guys, anybody that wants to help me out with prizes and renting the property, you can venmo me, or mail. I've got a huge grill this year, gonna fix ribeyes and burgers Friday and Saturday evening. No cost to eat.
Depending on funds as it gets closer, I'm gonna try to give away at least a plasma cutter, hopefully a mig also. Like last year, your name will be on the back of the shirts. I still have a couple of guys names I need to send shirts to that bought leftovers from last year. There are still large shirts left. Here's my venmo if anybody wants to help me. CRAP!! I MESSED UP AGAIN!. September 6th and 7th. I had the wrong weekend. Also the 8th if anybody camps Saturday night. We have a huge blacktop lot and shelter house with picnic tables. So my final is September 6-7th. That's finalized. I just got off the phone with the Jeffersonville city commissioner.

I'm sorry man. I asked for the 21st, and he told he there's a concert that night, that's when I remembered that we're playing there. He said we'd do the weekend before, but we were both confused, it was already booked. So it had to be the 6th and 7th. It's a nice place, it'll be worth it. I'll have to call and rent a Porta potty.

Planning for the masses isn't easy, heck planning for more than two people isn't easy.

I just happen to be wearing my Lloyd Fest 2023 shirt today while doing some paint repair on my Olds. Whether or not I make it you can count on some portapotty money from me. I'd rather know it went toward bourbon but I guess they end up in the place.

  16. Hey Brother, no worries at all. As soon as I read the dates of the 6th and 7th, I booked a room in Mt. Sterling. Even if you had it Labor Day weekend, I’d still be there. With the earlier date, we might ride a Harley down there.

Hmm.... well I've already committed to the city of Jeffersonville, but I wonder if we could do a cruise to the drive in Saturday evening maybe? We'll get together and discuss it soon

Hey Lloyd, don't do Venmo so shoot me a PM with your mailing info and I'll cut you a check. Won't be as much as last year - body shop, chrome shop, and stainless straightening/polishing are way over budget on the Ranch Wagon but there are still some funds left. No way the wagon will be ready this year but next year?

Lloyd, I might be able to make the new dates. Is there a place there to park a motor home? If not, I can stay at the camp ground. We are in Cheyenne, Wy. at the moment. Was going to Alaska but decided against it. From here to Utah, then Oregon and Washington. Then heading across Northern states to visit friends and hopefully stop by Mark's. Then to Kentucky. There for awhile, I thought I would have to miss all the fun.

Lloyd, I'm going to look around here. There's got to be something brand new that I'll bring along and donate to the prizes. It won't be the cool sandblaster I won last year, though!
Hope there's a river I can park my van down and next to!

I was thinking a cruise out there and a tour of the facilities.

  30. Why @Lloyd's paint & glass? We have oval track racing in this county because most county fairgrounds had cinder or clay ovals for horse racing which led to oval track auto racing on county fairgrounds.

    Just tell them it’s a historical reenactment!:D
